Gymnastics

I've been using a lot of gymnast pics as references for dynamic figure drawing practice. This drawing is far from perfect, but it was done without a reference. Something I could not have done a few weeks ago.

Gallery Site Sketch- Take 1

I really, really, love snowflakes and the colors of winter.

I sketched this as an attempt to replace the my gallery-site's current pic, as it's kindof weakening the layout.. but this isn't it either, so I'll be trying for take 2 later.

More refining

Another sketch that I've... sketched further.

I'm off for one week before studies start again. I passed all the subjects of last term and feel great about it, yet I can't seem to smile when I'm missing my family this much. Guess I'm a little homesick.

After refining

I needed a new image that was all nice and shiny to use for my new website's front-page, and I ended up refining the first digital portrait I did. I still can't get the nose right, and the eyes are tad off too, but I can't expect myself to get it right just yet :) Sadly I wasn't born with the gift and much practice is needed.
